HEALING USING MUSIC (HUM)

HUM is a non-profit organization dedicated to using music as a way to bring happiness into people's lives.
Our Vision

Music makes life better. It is a universal language that connects us to each other and it has this unique ability to uplift us and make us happy like when we listen to our favourite song or watch a performance.
Our vision at HUM is to uplift and strengthen our communities by making music accessible to everyone. We accomplish this vision by providing free music performances to schools, care facilities and public spaces and organizing annual benefit concerts to raise awareness for charitable causes.
It's often said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
At HUM, our journey begins with a single note.

“The holidays are my favourite time of the year. Old friends and new friends, carolling together as one in the community. The music creates such a euphoric feeling in the air. But what happens after the holidays are over? I believe that music should be happening throughout the year, not only during the holidays, and this is why HUM exists. To keep the music going and to use music as a way to spread happiness and joy in the community.”
